From yoga poses to feeling younger, I love love love the quest of seeing what’s possible with my body and being. This picture features my first ever handstand on camera! I’ve been working on this little trick all year and finally feel confident to not tumble over in the heart of Austin.
In fact, that was one of the quests on my target map last January. So, if my first handstand was achieved at 45 years young — what other targets have I not been asking for? It makes me curious … Are we simple not following our quests?
Truth, is there are some quests worth following and others that aren’t. This is something I dynamically learned over the years of practice… first with yoga, then adding more massage, acupuncture, facials — and now Access Consciousness body processes and symphony sessions.
Yes, over the years I’ve found that integrating and including the physical body with all creative choices makes a world of difference.
So, when I was invited to the Natural Products Expo this year, I (and my body) knew to go. I didn’t know why. I just new it world open doors of possibilities.
From an outsider’s view you may have wondered why a life and business coach would choose an expo with all these viewpoints about foods when I have openly come out and said that I judge nothing and ask my body.
What happened at that event once again flipped everything over as I was given some truly body-changing products. I believe the word is bio-hacking! Since they were free samples I gave them a try. I’ve been using them daily for the last six weeks.
Let me tell you what I’ve noticed in using them and I will create a post for a cool recipe I crafted as well.
The first one is: Vital Proteins Marine Collagen! Can you say, “Liquidity!”
I received 15 samples from the Expo and used one a day for a little over 2 weeks. After the first five days, I took a really intense yoga class. You know one that requires every muscle in your body to work. My head started with oh boy this might need to start a little slow. NOPE! My joints felt about ten years younger. Super Cool! And when you check out their site, there is a ton of other benefits to taking a high-quality collagen.
The second one is: TigerNut flour and pretty much TigerNut everything! They make TigerNut milk, smoothies, granola and cacao treats.
Yes! >TigerNut! What’s that? I know! My thoughts exactly!
Well they are not nuts! They are actually a small root vegetable – and for those that don’t often eat root vegetables they are great for greater connection with the earth.
The flour is the #1 source of Resistant Starch, a prebiotic fiber that resists digestion and becomes fuel for our probiotic bacteria.
Organic Gemini TigerNut Flour is gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy-free! And it’s great for baking (or in this case – no baking) as it adds a sweet and nutty flavor.
It’s also Free of Nuts, GMOs, gluten, dairy, tree nuts, peanuts! Yippee!
